Maksteel is committed to efficient production processes, while maintaining excellent safety, quality, and environmental standards. Our Mississauga location consists of a 200,000 square foot facility with a full complement of inventory. Five production bays are specifically designed to streamline a high volume, high efficiency production process. Storage bays dedicated for finished goods, allow products to be processed and ready for same-day delivery in many cases. A 250,000 square foot gantry yard has the capacity to store thousands of hot rolled black coils straight from the mills, ready for processing and J.I.T. delivery to our customers. This gantry yard has direct rail access connecting to North America's Railway System. With six unique slitters we can process and ship thousands of tons of steel daily. Processed materials range from .009" to .600" and up to 80" wide. Over 150 employees work at this site including qualified and motivated sales and production staff to service customer needs. Employees are cross-trained in many functions, ensuring the availability of qualified staff available for any job.
